A Tradition of Giving and Hospitality
Every year, the annual Ramadan Iftar hosted by Abdulrahman Al-Otaishan shines like a beacon of warmth and generosity, bringing people together in a spirit of unity and goodwill. It is a gathering where kindness and charity take center stage, reflecting the deep-rooted values of hospitality in Saudi society.
Abdulrahman Al-Otaishan, known as "Abu Dari," is not just a successful businessman but a self-made man whose dedication and perseverance have earned him the respect of many. He is known for his generosity, his unwavering commitment to his community, and his belief that giving back is both a duty and a blessing. Under the motto, "Helping others nourishes the soul and elevates the human spirit," he dedicates himself to charitable work, seeing it as an act of worship and a way to serve society. Addressing his guests, he shared a simple yet profound thought: "When you see goodness in others, you are really seeing a reflection of what’s within yourself."

This year’s Iftar was a distinguished gathering that brought together a group of prominent businessmen, community leaders, and esteemed guests. Among them was the highly respected businessman Salem Belhemor, alongside religious scholars, media figures, and U.S. Consul General in Dhahran, Mr. James Sindle, accompanied by his delegation. His warm demeanor and sincere engagement with the Saudi business community left a positive impression, highlighting his commitment to fostering strong ties with the region.
Throughout the evening, guests were welcomed with the utmost hospitality by Abu Dari and his sons, Dari and Rakan, who embodied the values instilled in them by their father. The way they honored their guests was a true expression of Saudi hospitality at its finest.

As the gathering came to an end, heartfelt prayers and well wishes were offered for Al-Otaishan and his family, that they may continue to reap the rewards of their kindness and generosity. The event served as a reminder that strong moral values and sincere generosity are the cornerstones of a prosperous society.
A special thanks to Abu Dari and his family for their exceptional hospitality—an embodiment of the Al-Otaishan family's longstanding tradition of giving and goodwill for the homeland and society.
May you all be in goodwill and in happiness.
